Many establishments such as restaurants or pool halls in your area offer great deals for fundraising.  Businesses will usually give teams a deal on food or services to bring customers into their establishment either as promotion or to make additional money from their bar. 

This allows the team to sell tickets for a meal or entertainment at a profit.  Many teams enjoy these types of fundraisers as it is a good opportunity to mix with other parents and to support businesses the community.  This type of fundraiser is usually for adults only.

We contacted our local pool hall to hold a pool tournament.  They charged our team $2 a head for the tournament.  We sold tickets in advance for the tournament and charged $5 per person to participate.  We held a silent auction and raise over $1000 in one night. 

If you have a favorite restaurant, pub or pool hall, contact the manager and ask if they would be interested.  You will make some great cash and have some fun to boot!
